Pencil Point Spinal Needles have a smooth contour pencil point tip. Polished surface to extemely low surface roughness. The cut edges of the opening are rounded and likewise polished. CSF flow is optimized by a special polishing and cleaning process on the inside of the fine needle tube. Smooth highly polished pencil point tip. Designed to separate, not cut, dural fibers to reduce risk of post dural puncture headache. Smooth lateral eye. Color coded for Gauge size.
