Soothie Pacifiers

By: Philips Healthcare

Philips Soothies feature a one-piece, medical-grade silicone design. They have features like the finger-held hole for bonding and a notch for tubing to support feeding and ventilation, especially for preemies. The Soothie pacifiers are created for premature to newborn use.

The Wee Thumbie, for hospital use only, is the first pacifier designed expressly for use by very low birth weight babies. It is modeled after the size & shape of the preemie thumb to facilitate sucking behaviors normally learned in utero.

The Wee Soothie is designed for growing preemies or smaller term babies of 30 - 34 weeks gestation for use during their hospital stay. Most babies will transition to the Soothie once they are successfully breast or bottle feeding.

The NICU Soothie is a premium pacifier designed for babies from 34 weeks gestation up to 3 months of age. Its notched design accommodates CPAP tubing, mechanical ventilation, or NG feeding. It is made without BPA, DEHP, or natural rubber latex and is suitable for babies over 34 weeks gestation for both hospital and home use.

The Soothie is a premium pacifier designed for newborns and babies without teeth who are successfully bottle or breastfeeding. Its one-piece construction adheres to the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines.
