The BreatheBite mouthpiece firmly places the tongue below the lip for spirometry maneuvers using a built-in tongue depressor. Combining the flange-style mouth seal with a built-in tongue depressor and a bilateral bite block, the BreatheBite mouthpiece achieves air flow during expiration and inspiration. The built-in bite block on both sides prevent the teeth from obstructing the air flow. The disposable Mouthseal is lightweight, soft, and pliable, made with the patients comfort in mind. It provides an excellent low cost alternative for the face mask. Packaged in individually sealed plastic bags.The mouthseal has been very popular for IPPB treatments, especially for patients who have trouble holding the single mouthpiece in place. The soft textured mouthseal gives added comfort as well as support for the patient unable to maintain an adequate seal with the mouthpiece alone.
