Tri-anim Health Services Shows Appreciation for America’s Respiratory Therapists by Making Donation to AARC COVID-19 Respiratory Therapist Family Survivorship Fund

DUBLIN, Ohio – Tri-anim Health Services, a Sarnova Company, and one of the nation’s largest distributors of specialty respiratory, anesthesia and other critical care supplies and equipment, recently recognized the efforts and sacrifices of our nation’s Respiratory therapists by making a donation to the American Association for Respiratory Care’s (AARC) COVID-19 RT fund.
Respiratory therapists (RTs) in our nation’s hospitals are on the frontlines of the battle to fight COVID-19. Among other things, they assess and manage patients on ventilators and assist with intubations and bronchoscopies. While doing so, RTs are exposed to the virus on a daily basis. They are serving selflessly and caring for others in their most desperate time of need.
The fund, administered by the AARC Board of Directors, authorizes monies to be made available to the surviving families of licensed respiratory therapists who contracted COVID-19 and then died from complications of the disease, while on the job and caring for patients with COVID-19. AARC is a non-profit organization that supports respiratory care and respiratory therapists.
Through this donation, Tri-anim recognizes the courage and dedication that these RTs have shown while treating patients with COVID-19.

"We hope that we can further the mission of AARC’s fund to recognize and support the families of those who have sacrificed so much serving their patients" he continued.
In observance of Respiratory Care Week 2020, Tri-anim thanked RT customers, praising them for their efforts and directed them to a website where they could vote for the fund to which Tri-anim would make a donation in honor of all RTs across the country for their efforts COVID-19 response.
