The Pocket Chamber incorporates a unique one-way valve between the patient mouthpiece and the chamber body. This highly sensitive, four-leafed silicone valve opens easily and provides little resistance to airflow while preventing patients from inadvertently blowing medication out of the back of the chamber. The Circulaire™ nebulizer utilizes a one-way valve in the breathing circuit along with an expandable reservoir bag. The reservoir bag acts as a holding chamber for the nebulized medication and prevents the aerosol particles from being vented to the atmosphere. The one-way valve holds the aerosol inside the reservoir bag until the patient actively inhales. It aerosolizes medication into a particle size that is between 0.9 and 1.2 microns. It also includes a resistor cap on the exhalation side, enabling the severe COPD patient to replicate pursed lip breathing when desired. The pie-shaped opening is adjustable for patient comfort and enhanced medication delivery.

It features a pacifier to help calm infants and toddler during aerosol treatment. Medication is inhaled through the nose, not the mouth.
