The BiFlo nasal mask is a simple, comfortable device designed as an alternative for oxygen therapy patients who cannot or will not tolerate a cannula or for those patients who have recurring necrosis. It delivers a gentle flow rather than jetting oxygen in the nasal cavity, as with a cannula. PaO2 and FIO2 values are comparable to those receiving oxygen with a conventional nasal cannula.
