The Intersurgical TrachSeal™ features an ultra-clear, new softer sleeve allowing the clinician greater feel when inserting the catheter with optimum visibility. The responsive suction control valve allows single handed control of the applied suction force and the positive locking mechanism is designed to prevent accidentally applied suction. This Trachseal™ closed suction systems is 72 hour usage and includes day stickers to identify changes requirements. There are two length options to allow attachment to either endotracheal or tracheostomy tubes. The endotracheal products feature a catheter length of 54cm and the tracheostomy tube variants have a catheter length of 30.5cm. A starter pack of saline ampules for irrigation of the system after each use is also included. These may be used with any of the closed suction systems. The Superset range of catheter mounts have a concertina design to allow for positioning control. This allows the catheter mount to be set in any required position. The design allows the adjustment of deadspace from 20ml to 40ml (code 3504: 15-36ml) and the adjustment of length from 70mm to 150mm, excluding connectors (code 3504) for total control. The range is available with fixed and swivel elbows and a variety of ports for all applications. All Intersurgical port caps are retainable for safety; fixed to the port connectors to ensure that they cannot be misplaced in use. Flip top cap with 7.6mm port - for connection of all standard 7.6mm probes or suctioning. Luer ports - for secure attachment of gas sampling lines with luer lock fittings. A large body diameter provides space for clear, widely-spaced calibration and incorporates a ‘pull-twist’ action preventing accidental adjustment. The one-piece design eliminates the need to use more than one valve for all concentrations and contains no separate pieces that may get lost or mislaid. Ease of Use The MultiOx adjustable venturi valve is simple to use and has the following features and benefits: * The anti-tamper ring with the ‘pull-twist’ action selects the prescribed oxygen concentration * A flow in L/min is printed next to each concentration indicating the optimum flow meter setting. These flows have been selected to ensure that the patient receives a total flow of approximately 40 L/min. This is designed to meet the patient’s “normal peak inspired flow” requirements. Precision The MultiOx delivers precise oxygen concentrations in compliance with ISO Standard EN 13544-3:2001. This accuracy is independent of the oxygen flow meter setting and is achieved using just one valve. The concentration delivered is unaffected by the patient’s breathing pattern provided that the optimum flow indicated on the valve is set on the oxygen flow meter. Environment Both adult and pediatric mask kits are supplied with Eco aerosol masks. The Eco aerosol mask has been designed as part of our ongoing focus on sustainable development, which is an integral part of our ethos. The Eco range, unlike traditional masks, contains no PVC. This results in a significantly lower impact on the environment. By utilizing the latest technology we have combined two materials: the first forms the clear rigid shell of the mask, (this provides a strong lightweight body with good visibility), while the second softer material forms the seal, (providing a comfortable fit for a wide variety of face shapes). All of these features provide improved patient comfort.

Patients with respiratory infections have specific needs and yet pose a specific risk. Conventional oxygen masks can generate a plume of particles from their exhalation ports, which can travel a distance of 0.4 metres resulting in a potential risk. The FiltaMask™ combines an oxygen delivery system with a filter media covering the exhalation ports. FiltaMask is intended for use on patients with respiratory infections who may be a source of aerosolised infectious pathogens and who also require supplementary oxygen. The FiltaMask is designed to reduce the risk to paramedics, hospital staff and visitors.
